My work draws from the mental universe of childhood as a space of freedom and resistance to established norms. The internal image, spontaneous gesture, and graphic freedom form the core of my artistic approach. For me, the child — liberated from academic conventions and technical constraints — embodies a raw and sincere energy capable of transcending formal boundaries.

Through elastic and expressive figures, I explore the dynamics of power, relationships, and memory within the Senegalese social context. My compositions oscillate between apparent lightness and dramatic tension, creating a dialogue between innocence and collective reality.

Between spontaneity and conscious construction, the body becomes a symbolic territory where imagination, transformation, and social responsibility intersect.

Alongside this exploration, I integrate environmental concerns into my practice, notably through the use of recycled materials and themes related to resilience and the relationship between humans and their environment.
